The fine folks over at Consequence of Sound are reporting that Queens of the Stone Age will perform their first US show in nearly two years next month at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, CA. The show which will also feature Eagles of Death Metal will be a benefit for EODM bassist Brian O’Connor who is currently fighting cancer while having no medical insurance. Dean Ferita - bassist for The Dead Weather/Queen of the Stone Age is currently filling in for O’Connor.
As of this point, ticket information has not yet been posted. As soon as it has, we will update you.
If you want to donate to help O’Connor’s medical bills, please click here.
This is not the first time Queens of the Stone Age have had to help out a member of their extended family. Please take a minute to click here and read about the bands 2008 tribute to Natasha Shneider.
Finally, with Reverend Justito already booked for the Coheed and Cambria show on this date, if anyone in the Los Angeles area would like to cover this event for Concert Confessions, please drop us a line.
