King’s X Announce “First Church of Rock & Roll” 2012 West Coast Tour

Updated 02/27/12: On February 26th, 2012 King’s X drummer Jerry Gaskill suffered a heart attack. While Gaskill is currently recovering, all below tour dates have been cancelled. As soon as we hear about new dates, we will post them here. On behalf of the entire Concert Confessions family, we wish Jerry a quick recovery.

If you were to ask our pal Reverend Justito who the most underrated band in the history of rock and roll is he would respond with King’s X. For over 30 years, the trio of Dug Pinnick, Ty Tabor and Jerry Gaskill have been cranking out their unique blend of highly melodic funkified bone crushing rock and roll. For the first time since 2009 (where we caught them at the Key Club) the trio are set to return to the West Coast for a three week tour in support of their most recent release Live Love in London. The trek kicks off March 28th in Austin Texas and wraps April 21st in Denver, Colorado. If you live out west and are a fan of rock and roll, you have no excuse to miss this tour.
