Refused Reunite At Secret Show In Sweden
By now you know Refused are no longer dead. It all started last month when Coachella announced their lineup and Refused was a part of it. Earlier tonight (02/29/12) the group took to the stage for a secret show in Sweden. It marked the first time the band has performed in 14 years. Earlier this year Refused released a statement in regards to hell freezing over and their reforming:
“We never did ‘The Shape Of Punk To Come’ justice back when it came out; too tangled up in petty internal bickering to really focus on the job. And suddenly there’s this possibility to do it like it was intended. We wanna do it over, do it right. For the people who’ve kept the music alive through the years, but also for our own sakes. We feel that you deserve it and we hope the feeling is mutual.”
