Giants Trade Tim Lincecum To MGMT

According to the guy who pushes the coffee cart around the Faux Sports offices, the San Francisco Giants are prepared to announce that two time Cy Young award winner Tim Lincecum has been traded to the rock band MGMT. In return, the Giants are set to receive cash considerations and bassist Matt Asti. We called Lincecum’s Grandmothers neighbor who had the following information to share.

“Oh yeah Timmy is super excited to be heading to MGMT. You know he loves the band, heck Electric Feel has been his warm up music as long as I can remember. One must assume the drug testing program in MGMT isn’t as strict as MLB and his hair will look great under the stage lights.”

With MGMT performing tonight at Lollapalooza in Santiago, Chile,  it is rumored that Lincecum’s first gig with the band will be on Tuesday at the Quilmes Rock Festival in Buenos Aires Argentina. The Giants plans for Asti are still unknown.
