Trey Anastasio Takes The Mound in San Diego

Apparently May 7th is “Rock Star First Pitch” day in San Diego. On May 7th of 2011, we headed south to check out Petco Park for the first time and happened to catch Switchfoot bassist  Tim Foreman throw out the first pitch before the Padres lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks 6-0. Last night in San Diego a very sparse crowd got to see one of our heroes throw out the first pitch. In town for his musical Hands on a Hard Body, Phish front man Trey Anastasio threw took to the mound at the cavernous stadium. As you can see below, the pitch was just a bit outside. Way to go Trey, we look forward to seeing you in action in Long Beach in three months.
