Jay-Z Set To Open Brooklyn’s Barclays Center With Three Eight Night Run

It’s good to be Jay-Z. He has a new baby daughter, his own two day music festival and the dude even has a basketball team. What better way to open up your team’s brand new arena than by sticking to what you know best – music.

According to Rap Radar, Jay-Z will open Brooklyn’s brand new Barclays Center with three eight shows. The gigs go down September 28th-30th 2012 and each show will reportedly feature 7,000 tickets priced around $30.

Tickets go on sale this Friday July 13th via Ticketmaster. Check out some sweet footage of Jay-Z performing at another Brooklyn sports venue a few years back down below.

Update: Jay-Z has added five more shows to the run. Hov will now perform on 09/28, 09/29, 09/30, 10/01, 10/03, 10/04, 10/05 and 10/06.
