Last night, Dave Grohl and the Sound City Players took over Hollywood at Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform two songs.  The band played “Fortunate Son” w/ John Fogerty and then Rick Springfeild came out to sing on “The Man That Never Was”. Hulu has both performances for you, and we’ve embedded the video replays below.

Dave Grohl will deliver the  keynote speech at this years SXSW festival in Austin, TX. On March 14th the band will perform at Stubbs with most of the star studded traveling band. John FogertyRick SpringfieldStevie NicksCorey TaylorAlain JohannesBrad Wilk(Rage Against the Machine) and Lee Ving(Fear) are confirmed to perform in Austin w/ Grohl. Desert punk legends The Meat Puppets will open the gig.
