The Who Will Tour North America Performing “Quadrophenia”

Brace yourselves folks because The Who are embarking on an Arena tour of North America playing their album “Quadrophenia” (during the anniversary of it’s 40th year), and they’re not just playing a handful of dates here and there.  Founding members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend will be backed buy  Zak Starkey (Ringo‘s kid-drums), Pino Palladino (bass), Simon Townshend (guitar/backing vocals), Chris Stainton (keyboards), Loren Gold (keyboards/backing vocals) and Frank Simes (musical director, keyboards/backing vocals) will kick off a tour November 1st with it’s 1st leg going to December 9th then in 2013  leg 2 kicks off in Anaheim January 28th and goes to the end of February in Rhode Island

I’m asking as a fan that we get ourselves some better performances than the one we got at the Super Bowl whatever year that was. We do not need any more Pete Townshend fake wind-mills.  If you can’t do it, don’t do it.

For more info, head to the Who’s Official Website here or search Twitter with the hash-tag #TheWhoTour , I’m sure you’ll find some interesting commentary about it. The dates lay below, see if they’re coming to your town

Jay Porks here.. I used to be a contributor on here. I\'m a little more than that now. This used to be the place I\'d go spill my rants and raves about artists and music I love and loathe. I still do that. But now I host a weekly podcast to get things off my chest, and since I have you here I\'m gonna tell you about it: Used to talk about fun things like music and pop culture, but these days it\'s all flushing the fascist crime syndicate from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave and taking back our country. A hostile foreign nation installed a corrupt racist rapist fake rich criminal to power and now he holds the nuclear codes. We have a lot of work to do to fix this nation and it starts with VOTING. Sometimes we go through the music headlines of the week along with other things I feel strongly about. Like ending Cannabis Prohibition, the sad state of affairs with the tri-state area sports teams, The struggles of an anti-social mess attempting to live in a social media world.
