So for about a week or so, Madison Square  Garden has told us they’ll be having a benefit show for Hurricane Sandy victims, and said that “big names” will be announced. Well, they weren’t lying.

On December 12th, (12/12/12) To benefit the Robin Hood Relief Fund, Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band, The Who (half the Who), Paul McCartney, Roger Waters, Billy Joel, Kanye West, Alicia Keys And More will be performing at MSG in more attempts and helping folks hurt financially in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.   It’s being presented by Clear Channel’s iHeartRadio.  Learn more about the event and donate: http://www.121212concert.org/

UPDATE  As of 11/27: Some artists have been added to the festivities at Madison Square Garden for the 12/12/12 benefit. These guys are named Dave Grohl and Eddie Vedder . Head over to the official website for ticketing details.

UPDATE As of 12/03: Eric Clapton and Chris Martin have also been added to the benefit.
