Mariachi El Ben? Close, but it’s just Death Cab’s little whining frontman Ben Gibbard playing solo stuff with a mariachi band called Trio Ellas on Conan last night. Not only am I wondering why this dude is playing with a mariachi band but also why would band with ‘Trio’ in their name contain at least 8 people. These are just questions I ask as we pass along to you not judgments, but the ability to rewatch this clip from last night.
