This May, Atlanta will be host to a brand new music festival. Dubbed ‘Shaky Knees Music Festival’, the festivities will all be going down in Masquerade Music Park and the Historic Fourth Ward Park this May 4th and 5th . It’s a two-day swing, and the festival features 28 bands spanning over three outdoor stages. Word around the water cooler is that local food trucks, artisans and vendors will also be available.
The lineup for Shaky Knees includes everything from up-and-comers The Orwells to “Best New Artist” Grammy nominees The Lumineers, with an eclectic lineup that includes Band of Horses, Jim James, (here’s a shocker) Gary Clark Jr., Welsh rockers the Joy Formidable, Kurt Vile & the Violators and more. Curated by longtime Atlanta promoter Tim Sweetwood, the fest offers live music fans two days of music in an urban outdoor setting.
Two-day general admission tickets as well as VIP passes went on sale on yesterday at Ticketmaster. For additional info check out the festival’s official website by clicking here
