Summerlandd 2013

We’re at a point now where we cannot promise that this will be the last 90s nostalgic tour for this summer, but we can promise this was the big one last year. Summerland 2013! That’s right I said it.

“Last year’s Summerland was a blast,” Everclear frontman Art Alexakis said in a statement. “This year, we’ve brought a decidedly edgier flavor bill to satisfy all of the fans of Nineties rock & roll out there.  It’s going to be an amazing summer night every night on Summerland 2013: Alternative Guitars”

Alternative Guitars indeed. Joining Everclear this year will be Live (without their lead singer that looks like Micheal Stipe), Filter (Doesn’t get nearly enough credit for Hey Man Nice Shot) and Sponge. So remember, now you only have about 17 choices of 90s throwback concerts to attend this summer. Jay Porks here.. I used to be a contributor on here. I\'m a little more than that now. This used to be the place I\'d go spill my rants and raves about artists and music I love and loathe. I still do that. But now I host a weekly podcast to get things off my chest, and since I have you here I\'m gonna tell you about it: Used to talk about fun things like music and pop culture, but these days it\'s all flushing the fascist crime syndicate from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave and taking back our country. A hostile foreign nation installed a corrupt racist rapist fake rich criminal to power and now he holds the nuclear codes. We have a lot of work to do to fix this nation and it starts with VOTING. Sometimes we go through the music headlines of the week along with other things I feel strongly about. Like ending Cannabis Prohibition, the sad state of affairs with the tri-state area sports teams, The struggles of an anti-social mess attempting to live in a social media world.
