The Lineup for the Hangout Music Festival (taking place on beaches in Alabama May 17th through 19th) has been revealed. Besides Kings Of Leon, things are shaping up to be a very serviceable festival experience. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Phish Spin-Off Trey Anastasio Band, and The Breeders top this list of notables while The Shins, Kendrick Lamar, Passion Pit, The Black Crowes, Bassnectar, Jim James, Slightly Stoopid, The Roots, Bloc Party, Ellie Goulding, Public Enemy, Dirty Projectors, Best Coast, moe., Gov’t Mule and Grouplove among others to join the party.
Also, just like Governors Ball did with us a few weeks ago it looks like we have ourselves “Yet to be announced” headliner, as Tom Petty and Kings Of Leon are only two of the three. Will it be “Guns N’ Roses”? Will it be Skrillex? What about America’s Favorite band Pearl Jam? How about this: Take a guess in the comments section. That’s right, we may not have fancy video equipment but we still would love to hear your guesses as to who the 3rd headliner is going to be. When announced if you guessed right we’ll send you an official tee shirt courtesy of Concert Confessions. Hey, it’s better than a hug right? Check out the full list of acts below, in alphabetical order. Head over to the Festival’s Official Website For More Information.
The Sasquatch! Festival 2013 lineup has just been announced at the official Announcement Party at the Neptune Theatre in Seattle. The four night party over Memorial Day Weekend at the Gorge Amphitheatre always promises to be a good time and this year looks to be no exception.
Cody ChesnuTT came out to start the night, the first artist confirmation of the Festival. After his short set came “surprise guests” Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, who confirmed their own Gorge set for May after performing Thrift Shop, Same Love and Can’t Hold Us.

HARD Summer Returns To A Dirt Lot Near Downtown Los Angeles
Editors Note: In case you could not tell our pal Reverend Justito likes to say heck no to techno. If this offends you then we did our job right.
Good news for E-tards in Southern California and beyond. The HARD Summer Festival is returning to that craptastic dirt lot adjacent to downtown Los Angeles. LA Weekly has broken the lineup and really you would have to be on HARD drugs to enjoy most of the acts. Highlights (if you can call them that) include Skrillex, Bloc Party and that dude who used to be in LCD Soundsystem. You have access to Google, so I am sure you can figure out when tickets go on sale, and hopefully no 15 year old kids die because it would be sad to see a news story here in Los Angeles not about the Lakers or Lindsay Lohan. Line-up is below the nifty viral video the HARD Summer folks made to request your presence at LA State Historic Park on August 3rd and 4th.

2012 Outside Lands Music Festival Announces Initial Artist Details
Last year our man Reverend Justito returned home to San Francisco where he enjoyed all three days of Outside Lands. Knowing this year he would not be able to make it, he was praying for a terrible lineup. Of course his prayers were not answered as Outside Lands is back with one of its best lineups yet. Headliners include beloved Bay Area natives Metallica and Neil Young and Crazy Horse. Also high up on the list are the likes of Foo Fighters, Jack White and Stevie Wonder.
Three Day Passes go on sale Thursday April 19th at 12 noon PST. Prices will go up as each “level” sells out. Click here for all the ticketing details. To read our reviews from Outside Lands 2011, click here, here and here.
According to the Chicago Sun Times, we officially have a list of the performers that will take the stage for Lollapalooza 2012.
After cancelling numerous tour dates earlier this year due to illness of Tony Iommi, Black Sabbath will headline the festival that takes place in Chicago August 3rd-5th alongside Jack White, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and The Black Keys.
Don’t worry folks, everybody’s favorite reunited band At The Drive In will be there too, along with Avicii, Florence and The Machine, Justice and The Shins. And I guess it wouldn’t be a festival if Childish Gambino wasn’t involved.
