Performances like these are the reason why David Letterman isn’t rumored to be replaced by anybody. Wednesday evening, The Flaming Lips stopped by the Ed Sullivan Theater and got totally weird. Wayne cradling the baby in his arms says it all… They performed “The Terror”, and you can check that performance out below:
Watch Led Zeppelin Get Interviewed on David Letterman
Usually there’s music played in our As Seen On TV posts but this one we just couldn’t pass up. Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and Jimmy Page-otherwise known as Led Zeppelin stopped by David Letterman tonight to sit down for an interview. Check out the video of the interview below in two parts, courtesy of our buddy The Audio Perv.
The Wallflowers Return To David Letterman
Let’s hit you with some honesty. This writer has a day job that has one of the “Muzak” radio things blasting the Expressions station all day long. It’s brutal. Elevator music along with Adele ruining songs I used to like. Anyway, I get only slightly over four minutes of relief, and that’s when The Wallflowers “6th Avenue Heartache” comes on and I start ignoring customers who want a refill on (what they believe is) Ginger Ale. That said, The Wallflowers actually have a new album coming out this year, it’s titled “Glad All Over”. It’s fitting that Bob’s Favorite son Jakob Dylan and his band would return to the Ed Sullivan Theater to promote the new effort, performing a new song called “Reboot The Mission” that you could check out the video of below, courtesy of The Audio Perv

If tickets to the Wallflowers hadn’t sold out on this guy in New York City, you would’ve already read that little work anecdote.
The Killers Perform “Runaways” on David Letterman
Hey what do you know, the Killers are on TV. On tour currently supporting their latest effort Battle Born, they even had a “director” for their webcast from the newly reopened Paradise Theater the other night. While in town, Brandon Flowers and Co. stopped by The Ed Sullivan Theater to perform “Runaways” on for David Letterman, who seems to be a huge fan. Video below courtesy of The Audio Perv
