Kasabian 07/03/10
Heineken Open'er Festival - Gdynia, Poland
Words by Reverend Justito/concertconfessions.com
When one does a simple Google search of “Kasabian North America” the first two WebPages that pop up are Concert Confessions creations (Please join our Facebook group). I am pretty sure on a personal level I have done more work getting Kasabian on So-Cal radio juggernaut KROQ then the bands US label has. To be honest, I fear the band may not even have a US label at this point. So while Kasabian may not be ... Read More

Porcupine Tree/Coheed and Cambria 08/12/10
Wiltern: Los Angeles, CA
Words/Photos by Reverend Justito/concertconfessions.com
Nothing says a party like a Thursday night in Korea Town. While many gathered to drink Soju and sing Karaoke, I entered the doors of the historic Wiltern Theatre for a night of progressive rock and roll. With Porcupine Tree and Coheed and Cambria joining forces for a two week tour across the states, what better place to kick off a summer tour than frigid Southern California?
Sadly, I missed The Deer Hunter ... Read More

Phish 08/07/10
Greek Theatre - Berkeley, CA
Words/Photos/Videos by Reverend Justito/concertconfessions.com
Before we really get going, I need to thank a few people for making this entire weekend possible. I was shut out via mail order and ticketmaster. Chad and Eric came to my rescue with one ticket for each night and I didn’t have to pay a cent for it. You guys are incredible. I would also like to thank James and Kelly for letting me crash for two nights. You guys rule and ... Read More

Greek Theatre - Berkeley, CA
Words/Photos/Videos by Reverend Justito/concertconfessions.com
Note: This is the second review I wrote while taking BART from Berkeley to the penninsula. I wrote this on my iPod, and as I edit/put this together on Sunday I think it holds up rather well given the condition I was in. Special thanks to Katy Perry for some inspiration on this one.
I tried an experiment tonight. What would happen if I rocked my Lakers/Lizards t-shirt and $4.99 Lakers cap at a Phish ... Read More

Greek Theatre - Berkeley, CA

Note: Reason #81 SF is better than LA. I was able to write most of this review on BART on the way home from the show :)
At the very moment the fog rolled across the bay and reached Berkeley, Phish took the stage for the first of three over-sold nights at the Greek Theatre. With grins from ear to ear on everyone inside the historic venue the band kicked off leg two of their ... Read More

Steel Panther 07/31/10
Ovation at the Green Valley Ranch - Los Vegas, NV
Words & Photos by God Frank/Concertconfessions.com
Last weekend was my birthday weekend. Being a total loser, I had nothing to do and nobody to do it with so I jumped in my car and went to Vegas. For the most part I spent the weekend getting my ass kicked at the poker tables, but I did take a break from the massacre that was Texas Hold ‘em to see the monsters of ... Read More

KROCKATHON 15
Infield @ NY Fairgrounds - Syracuse NY
Words/Photos by Milktruck/concertconfessions.com
The 15th annual KROCKATHON was held Saturday July 31st It was a great day of music. Having never heard of Halestorm before, they were the biggest surprise. Their singer has such a powerful voice.
The main reason I attended the show was for Limp Bizkit. It was just like the old days, the band sounded great. So great, that the second front man Fred Durst asked all the ladies to join the band on ... Read More

Bayside & Senses Fail Set To For 2010 Atticus Fall Tour
(aka: Out With The In Crowd Tour)
What can I say, we here at Concert Confessions are a big fan of Atticus. Not only do they have great t-shirts, they named their company after my lil stinker.. OK, that’s a lie, the same name is just a coincidence, but it was an awesome excuse to post his cute kittie mug on this here website. Oh and of course it was an excuse to share with you ... Read More

Axl Rose vs. 500,000 Bikers: G'n'R Set To Headline Rock 'N Rev
Rock ‘N Rev – the festival that was rumored to be cancelled just weeks ago has perhaps pulled off the headlining coup of the summer. That is of course if you like headliners who are 1/5th the band they used to be.
With an already impressive lineup of red state rock bands (Godsmack, Three Doors Down, Creed) coming to Sturgis to play for a bunch mad men (and women) on motorcycles, the ... Read More

While I was by the beach in Ventura celebrating one of the greatest publicists on the planets 31st birthday, our pal Johnny Firecloud from Antiquiet.com was braving triple digit heat to witness the live debut of the Zack De La Rocha/Jon Theodore collaboration – One Day As A Lion.
You can read all about the show here.

The 2010 Vans Warped Tour
07/17/10 - Nassau Coliseum Parking Lot - Long Island, NY
Words/Photos/Videos by melorocker
This 2010 edition of the traveling Warped tour seems scaled back from previous years. i have been to 2 other warped shows that were at near or at full capacity. Nassau Coliseum holds up to seven thousand people when a concert is held indoors, but at the parking lot it could be trickier to come up with a figure. i felt that it was not the usual numbers ... Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
Rockin' On The River - Clarkston, WA
Words/Photos by thenaturalstoner
From all accounts Clarkston, Washingtons annual Rockin' on the River, this year headlined by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, was a hugely intoxicated day of classic rock and roll. Rocking the LC Valley with all her hits including "I Love Rock and Roll", "Crimson and Clover", "Bad Reputation", and a fun version of The Replacements "Androgynous", Jett showed Clarkston, Washington a real good (albeit kinda weird) time.

Words/Photos by saucerfulofsecrets
It’s the summer of 2006…. I, like most people, am looking for something new to listen to and at this time, most of the new music coming out is terrible. I ask a friend to give me something good I probably don’t have. He gave me a copy of ‘Magic Potion’ and as soon as the second track, “Your Touch” started, I was officially hooked. I knew that I had to see ... Read More

Queens of the Stone Age & Friends 08/16/10
Music Box @ Fonda: Hollywood, CA

(Note: This review was first published by MTVnews.com)
On the night of October 1st, 2005, I found myself inside the Hollywood Bowl enjoying one of my favorite bands - Queens of the Stone Age as the main support to Nine Inch Nails. As smoke from the rampant forest fires across the Southland choked the autumn air, I witnessed a quick and clever set from Queens. It was also ... Read More

The Scorpions "Get your Sting and Blackout World Tour 2010" is not to be missed for it is the Scorpions farewell tour thus ending one of the most enduring and succesful career any hard rock band would dream of. i dont agree with the scorpions retiring. they delivered a high energy affair last night at jones beach theater. drumer James Kottak (formerly of kingdom come) seems to have a huge personality just like his ... Hailing from Palm Desert, CA – KYUSS was without a doubt one of the all time great Desert/Stoner/Groove rock outfits. This past weekend at Hellfest in Clisson, France 3/4th of the band reunited and rocked the massive festival. While Queens of the Stone Age/Eagles of Death Metal/Them Crooked Vultures axe slinger Josh Homme was noticeably missing, drummer Brant Bjork & bassist Nick Oliveri joined singer John Garcia during his set. Garcia is currently performing through Europe under the billing GARCIA PLAYS KYUSS.

My first statement on this concert review of Cinderella is that i have fallen in love all over again with this band. Cinderella STILL got mojo to spare. love the fact that it is the original band, tom, jeff, eric and fred on stage. Tom still have his voice and then some. he delivered the songs like they appear on record, though a couple of high pitch screams were missing. i notice that guitarist ... Read More

2010 KROQ Weenie Roast
06/05/10 - Verizon Wireless Amp: Irvine, CA
Words/Photos/Videos by Reverend Justito/concertconfessions.com
No longer a Fiesta, the annual KROQ Weenie Roast returned to Irvine, California on the first Saturday in June 2010. The long lasting corporate rock radio festival is not only a celebration of Summer's arrival, but a chance for the stations simple-minded fan base to act like complete and total douche-bags. Despite this fan-base of brainless burnouts, KROQ always puts together a top-notch line up of artists young and old. ... Read More

Ween 05/30/10
The Wilma Theatre - Missoula, MT
Words/Photos by TheNaturalStoner
Personally I had a lot of inner hype built up upon entering The Wilma Theatre to see Ween perform in Missoula, Montana. The show, long sold out, proved to be a hard ticket to find. After trading my Sasquatch Festival tickets for two Ween Wilma tickets, I was very much looking forward to some fun Weenness out in Big Sky Country. The band, city and venue did not disappoint.
The Wilma Theatre is an old ... Read More
