And for the ... Read More

In two weeks' time, I'll be journeying to Atlanta to witness influential reggae/ska/funk kings Fishbone playing live, mostly to support their most recent documentary "Everyday Sunshine," which you can purchase on iTunes.
Before they set out on a short tour of the south, the 'Bone rocked the stage at JKL, first with classic track "Everyday Sunshine" off their 1991 album "The Reality of My Surroundings."

Whoa, wait a second. You're telling me if I had been lazy and chose not to dig all the way to the bottom of my email from the 'Bowery Presents' I wouldn't have seen that Local H show listed at the Mercury Lounge in NYC? Nada Surf Bring Hi-Speed Soul to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon
I remember back in the day when folks were impressed when Phil Collins performed at Live Aid events in London and Philadelphia on the same day. More impressive is Nada Surf who somehow managed to perform and sign autographs at Amoeba Music in Hollywood California only to fly back east and rock Late Night with Jimmy Fallon a few hours later. Apparently in addition to 15 year’s worth of great songs, Nada ... Read More

Grouplove Pay Jimmy Kimmel Live A Visit
We here at Concert Confessions have been trying to see Grouplove for a while. As you may recall, our founder Reverend Justito attempted to catch the band on the Pan Handle stage at the 2011 Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival. However with a massive crowd assembled at the solar powered stage, he couldn’t even get close enough to hear the band let alone see them. Then our youngest and quite possibly brightest contributor Jakob Ross caught ... Read More

Another artist that will be at Coachella 2012 they were introduced and strummed a few chords of an Elvis Costello-ish sounding tune.
