Lisa Marie Presley Brings ‘Over Me’ to Jimmy Kimmel Live

Categories: As Seen On TV, News

Lisa Marie Presley Brings 'Over Me' to Jimmy Kimmel Live Lisa Marie Presley performed last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live. We are going to rip off Tosh.0 and put 30 seconds on the clock: Tom Petty called he wants the outfits from the Don’t Come Around Here No More video back. Not even Jack White can make this listenable. This went way better than her audition for Dancing With The Stars. When does she start singing? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5g5p3-Rvgs&list=UUa6vGFO9ty8v5KZJXQxdhaw&index=3&feature=plcp Yeah these were all rather lame but this performance is so bad ... Watch Garbage’s Entire Webster Hall Show

Categories: News, Reviews

Watch Garbage's Entire Webster Hall Show (New York City May 22nd 2012) I'm getting old. In previous years, a guy like myself would have made his way into the city earlier this evening to catch Garbage destroy Webster Hall.  But that wasn't the case as this writer not only wasn't in the building, but was admittedly asleep for the entire duration of the Webcast courtesy of MTV HIVE. Fate is a funny thing. You ever fall asleep early and wake up like 3Am with absolutely ... Read More

Peter Gabriel Celebrates 25 Years of 'So' With North American Tour When I was in Junior High we had a new kid show up in 7th grade. He was from upstate New York and he looked a lot like Donkey Lips from Salute Your Shorts. Kids being kids were cruel to him even after I passed him the “puck” that ended up being the game winning goal for our quarter of “street hockey” in PE. I tried to be nice because let’s be ... Mick Jagger, Foo Fighters & Arcade Fire Hit SNL Stage It's tough these days to try to be one of these "online rock journalist" dudes when I can't stand any moment in time when Dave Grohl isn't behind a drum kit. But, I've been muzzled from making fun of things that the mass majority of people like, so that will be my only dig I promise. Anyway, tonight Saturday Night Live completed it's 37th Season, and the finale featured a slew of big ... Read More

Best Coast Play "The Only Place" On Letterman  I walked in from a night of Foxy Shazam and the first thing on TV when I walked in was Best Coast on Letterman. Funny, because we at Concert Confessions were just discussing the other day about how Best Coast are playing Orion Music + More Festival (that Metallica thing in Atlantic City) and how it's not going to take long for this chick (the singer in this band) get hit in the face with ... Willie Nelson Covers Pearl Jam On Jimmy Fallon It's been almost a year since I saw Willie Nelson in Spokane.  The legend himself in person. Hard to believe that weekend even happened.  So every time he's on TV or something I feel like I have to check it out, to sort of relieve the memories a little bit. So he stopped by 'Late Night', promoting his latest effort Heroes among other things. Hell I would go see him again in NJ tomorrow night ... Read More

Tenacious D Perform ‘Roadie’ on Letterman

Tenacious D Perform 'Roadie' on Letterman Easily entertained is how I would describe the majority of fans of music I run into. That being said, last night Tenacious D stopped by the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City to play a boring song to a crowd that loved it. Maybe it's because I don't find Jack Black funny in most of his flicks that I don't get this band. But I don't care if they brought John Bonham and Jimi Hendrix back from the dead ... Read More

The Wombats ‘Jump Into The Fog’ With Conan O’Brien

The Wombats 'Jump Into The Fog' With Conan O'Brien Despite being almost 33, I will probably get grounded for this but it is so worth it. For a while in high school I started calling my Mother a Wombat. Not sure why really, probably because I was a dumb punk kid. She played along and even embraced the Wombat crossing sign I snuck into her truck at one point. So when I see this band, I automatically think of my Mother, which is ... Read More
