Pictures don't lie. The Joy Formidable have unveiled a slew of tour dates for North America beginning in March. The party starts where most party's start-and that's at South By Southwest. The band will then play five dates in California before heading up the coast and across the country, hence (most likely) canceling out any Coachella dreams any of the Indio faithful had planned. The usual suspects of venues are all covered: First Avenue in Minneapolis , The Loft in Michigan , ... Read More

In 2012 I exchanged maxing out my credit card with Ticketmaster and instead maxed it out on diapers. In June I became a first time father which meant my sleepless nights were spent with an infant in my arms instead of next to the PA. Despite the life change I still managed to see some great gigs.

2012 Gathering of the Juggalos Lineup Revealed
Earlier this year we made the April Fool’s joke that ICP would ditch their makeup for Gathering of the Juggalos 2012. Since we had a little fun at the expense of the Juggalos it is only fair that we post this lineup. While we may only have one Juggalo amongst our family here at Concert Confessions, the fact is pretty much all of us would go to a Gathering if we had the chance. When it ... Read More

Fun Fun Fun Fest Releases 2012 Lineup
Judging by the name this should be a good time. Fun Fun Fun Fest is set to return to Austin Texas from November 2-4th 2012. The lineup is pretty incredible seeing as how it is topped by a reunited Run-D.M.C. One must assume with the 10 year anniversary of the death of Jam Master Jay the ground-breaking rap group may be going the hologram route much like Dre and Snoop did with 2Pac at Coachella 2012.

RIP Girls: A Tribute To The Best Band You've Never Heard
One of my favorite discoveries of 2011 is a San Francisco based two-piece band simply titled Girls. Their music can be sort of described as garage rock/indie pop with some San Franciscan psychedelia thrown in for good measure. They've received high praise for their two albums, 2009's Album and 2011's Father, Son, Holy Ghost. Now, according to a recent string of tweets by lead singer/songwriter Christopher Owens, he's left the band. Meaning, of course, ... Read More

Bonnaroo Part III: Return of the Jedi
Chapter 1: Sunday Morning
On the morning of my final day at Bonnaroo, I was prepared for what would certainly be our most relaxing day. With only four acts to check out (and the first one not going on until 1:00), I was ready to chill and maybe have a beer with BeeZnutz.
